Dr Daniela Mancuso
Dr Daniela Mancuso received a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours from the University of Sao Paulo State (UNESP), one of the top Dental Universities in BraziL. For her outstanding work in Endodontics she received the prestigious Maillefer Honours and Distinction award.
Since her graduation she has been extending her expertise in this area, focusing on the non-surgical endodontics re-treatments with the aim to prevent the extraction of teeth wherever possible.
Following her graduation she enrolled into an extensive postgraduate program where she received her recieved her Masters degree and PhD in Prosthodontic from UNESP. She also helped in the foundation of the Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Department in the Oral Oncological Centre of UNESP. much of her work has been published worldwide and she has contributed two chapters in prestigious text books.
In Brazil Daniela expanded her knowledge in Periodontics and because of her outstanding clinical understanding and ability she was invited to work as a clinical assistant in Periodontal surgery at UNESP.
Dr Mancuso is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) UK as a specialist in Prosthodontic and she is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) and CAPES Research group based in Brazil.
After running a successful private dental practice in Brazil she moved to England in 2008 where she has since joined the multi-disiplinary team at the Windsor Centre for Advanced Dentistry. It is here where she is engaged in her areas of expertise which include: conventional and surgical endodontics (root canal treatments and re-treatments), advanced restorative dentistry (veneers, crowns and bridgework), periodontal surgery and rehabilitation as well as full mouth reconstructions.
